SURGE stands for - Stockton User Representative Group for Empowerment SURGE encourages service users to reflect upon their experience of using mental health services by considering what works well, what needs improving and how things can be developed. User involvement can be done in many different ways. You have a choice, as to what you would like to get involved with. Your involvement is completely voluntary and you can get involved as much or as little to suit your needs.
