Teesside Football League

The League is a recognised Senior League as sanctioned and affillated to the North Riding County F.A.
At the moment the membership now consists of 27 clubs for season 2011/2012, with the possabilty of a 28th club joining. There are 14 teams in the 1st Division and 13 in the 2nd Division, following the resignation of Norton & Stockton Reserves, Redcar Rugby Club, Stokesley SC and Stockton Town and aceptance by at the AGM of Billingham Synthonia, Hope Athletic, New Marsk SC, Nortallerton Town Acedemy and Yarm FC, Darlington GSRA who were relegated and Great Ayton United who finished 3rd in the 2nd division were elected into the first division, two clubs in the first division, Acklam Steelworks and Norton WMC changed their names to, Dormans FC (Acklam SW) and Hemlington SC (Norton WMC).
All Clubs enter the Leagues MacMillan Bowl, those that are knocked out in the first or any earlier rounds enter the R T Raine Trophy.
A First Division knockout competition in memory of Lou Moore the late League President of the League, the Lou Moore Memorial Shield will be competed for by the First Division Clubs
The Second Division Clubs will also compete for the ALex Burness Plate.
All Club affilliated to the North Riding County FA enter the Saturday County Cup, and can enter the Saturday Senior Cup Second Division Clubs can also enter the Saturday Challenge Cup and the Saturday County Cup.
