Teesside Theravadin Buddhist Group
This is the first and only Theravadin Buddhist Group (so far!) to be set up in Teesside. The aim of the group is to provide a friendly source of advice, instruction and support for all those interested in practising or learning more about Buddhism.
The group is affiliated to and supported by Harnham Buddhist Monastery in Northumberland and at the first meeting of the group, on 29 November 2000, Ven. Punnyo and Ven. Revato from Harnham came along to lend their support and to deliver a dhamma talk.
The group meets once a fortnight on a Thursday evening at 7.30pm in the Society of Friends Meeting House, Cambridge Road, Middlesbrough. Please see the contact page for details of how to get more information. |
