Have you just moved to the Tees Valley or County Durham area and want to meet new friends? Or do you just want to expand your social circle? If you've been asking yourself "How do I make the most of my free time?", the answer's easy - Join Tees Valley IVC!

Tees Valley IVC is a social club for graduates, professionals and like-minded people. Membership is open to both singles and couples (we are not a singles club or dating agency). All we ask is that you be willing to get involved with helping to create a social life that is only limited by your own energy and imagination.

Events are organised by the members for the members, and there is an event for almost every day of the month. Events include pub crawls, meals, cinema & theatre trips, live comedy, 5-a-side football, badminton, ten pin bowling, walks, parties, salsa dancing, concert trips plus much, much more. In addition, we also organise larger scale events such as our Christmas Party, Summer Ball, Beach Party and Youth Hostel Weekends.

We hold Club Nights twice per month, one at Middlesbrough Municipal Golf Club and the other at a venue which changes every month. Club nights allow members to publicise forthcoming events in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and are the ideal venue for coming along for the first time to find out more and "sign up".

We are a voluntary organisation, though there is a small charge for membership. Annual membership fee is £26 for singles and £48 for couples. This covers costs such as printing, postage, room hire, insurance and subsidising events - no-one gets paid and no profit is made. Your first three months as a prospective member costs only £6.50, a low-cost way to check us out before deciding whether you would like to join as a full member.
