Driver Training vehicles
 |
There is a constant need for driver recruitment with Stagecoach , to cater for this need, they operate a training school from Stockton Depot. The Group purchased a large quantity of Renault-Dodge buses with Wadham-Stringer bodywork for this task. They were ex W.D. and some eleven years old when purchased. They have manual gearboxes and comply with the current legislation for driver training. After the recruit has passed their P.C.V. test, they are retrained on modern automatics
No 17, D157 HHN is such a vehicle
