Sunshine corner

This picture was taken early 1930.s

Do you remember the jingle'

Sunshine Corner Oh its very fine,
its for children under 99,
all are welcome seats are given free,
the Baptist Sunshine corner is the place for me"

I must have been quite young when Sunshine corner was on the Beach, about four or five years old (1948/49) it closed about then and moved to a small church at the back of the Gas Works just off Thrush Road, Redcar.
All I remember is the wooded shutters at the side used to close across the front of the stage and they put the deck chairs on the stage when they closed up to keep them safe, there was something written across the wooden shutters which was visible when they were closed but I just can't remember what it said. I'm sure others will have better memories of it.
