GOLF DAY

The Plough Inn F.C held what hopes to be an annual Golf Day on Saturday 18th June 2005 at Mount Oswald Golf Club.

The day proved to be a massive success in raising funds for the football club but more importantly a fun day for all who attended.

There were a few bandits who turned up on the day claiming never to have hit a golf ball in their lives before (Stewart Doyle) but we wont name and shame!

The memories of Craig 'any one seen my ball' Pugh, Peter 'do I have to get off this buggy' Quinn, Chris 'who put that lake there' Lonsdale and not forgetting the near miss head shot for Craig Johnson from a wayward shot from Steven Dawson.

HONOURS

Winner: Paul Wilcock
2nd: Michael Wanless
3rd: Stewart Doyle (Bandit)
Longest Drive: Graham Gartside
Nearest to the pin: No one even near
Best 3 Holes: Andy Dawson
Wooden Spoon: Lee Johnson
