Welcome to Thornaby Light
Thornaby Light is Thornaby's free community newspaper.
Established in 1995 it has grown from a 4 page newsletter printed every quarter to a 16 page community newspaper printed every 2 months.
It has a print run of 10,500 copies and is delivered FREE to 10,000 homes in Thornaby.
Thornaby Light is run by a voluntary Management Committee and employs a full-time Manager/Editor.
A team of dedicated volunteer reporters bring the majority of articles and adverts in. Local individuals, organisations and groups are encouraged to, and regularly contribute to the contents of Thornaby Light, giving it a vast mix of local relevant information catering for all sections of the community.
