Autumn Fayre
Our sixteenth annual Autumn Fayre was held this year on the 30th of September. This regular fund raising event was well supported by the local businesses, and we made just over £920.
100 Years Of Fashion 1860 - 1960
Alan Graham of Consett presents his fashion show with a difference.
This is a special event being held in the Memorial Hall on Wednesday 8th of November commencing at 7pm. Dresses include those worn by Queen Alexandra, Lillie Langtry (Edward VII's Mistress), Mrs. Simpson, Duchess Of Windsor, and there is a dress from the TITANIC. Items from the mini skirt era are also being worn by local girls posing as models. Music & songs of the times are by David & Nicola Wright and the admission price is £2.00.
TICKETS ARE OBTAINABLE FROM THE HALL, AT THE BINGO, TEA DANCE, CARPET BOWLS. SOME ARE ALSO AVAILABLE AT THE WEST AUCKLAND POST OFFICE OR BY PHONING

Senior Citizen's Party
The monies from the Autumn Fayre fund this annual event. This year it is held on the 2nd of December and is open to all Senior Citizens of West Auckland: women - age 60 & over & men - age 65 & over, and couples, where one is of pensionable age
Punch & Judy Show
This event was very successful last year so Brian is back on again on the 22nd of December with his Punch & Judy Show, plus balloon modelling, music and magic. It starts at 2.00 pm and the doors open at 1.30 pm.
