STRICTLY NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY, EXCEPT HANDY PONY, GAMES (BEFORE 12PM), CLEAR ROUND & SHOW JUMPING
Rules and Conditions
1. Entries to be received prior to closing date, excluding clear round, handy pony , showjumping and games.
2. The Judges decision will be final in all classes, entry to a class maybe refused if the judge believes the animal to be lame or in a poor physical state.
3. No whips or spurs in Games or Handy Pony classes.
4. Excessive use of whip or spur, mistreating a horse or riding in a dangerous manner will be penalised.
5. Prize Money will be paid out at the end of each class, in the event of a tie the Prize Money will be shared.
6. Notice of objection must be made in writing with a £5 deposit to the General Secretary on the day of the show, where an objection fails the deposit will be forfeit.
7. All competitors will follow the instructions of the Judges and Stewards, Penalty will be disqualification.
8. The right is reserved to alter the order or composition of the Schedule and to withdraw or amend prizes offered in any class.
9. Times printed in the Schedule are approximate please bear in mind when planning your entries.
10. All winners of cups will be asked to sign an undertaking before leaving the Showfield stating that they will keep in safe custody and return all cups undamaged to the Horse & Pony Secretaries on or before 29th August 2009
11. The Society will not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage caused on or off the Showfield at or in connection with the show.
12 All riders must wear correct riding apparel at all times on horseback i.e.riding hat conforming to current safety standards (PAS 015, BSEN1384, ASTMF 1163) & riding boots, body protectors are strongly recommended for jumping events, games etc
13 Riders competing in lead rein classes are not eligible for non-lead rein classes
14 Jumping classes to be judged under BSJA rules.
15 No animal under the age of 4 years to be ridden on the showfield.
