Whats on in Weardale
 | Stanhope Folk Club and how this site began ...
The folk club set up its own web site some months ago and it has been a resounding success. The "Whats on in Weardale" Page was getting bigger and bigger and so we have taken the brave decision to set it up on its own web site and lets see what happens over the next twelve months.
We felt there was an unmet need for a separate web site just for Weardale community events - covering the area from Crook to Killhope, Rookhope to Middleton in Teesdale. We hope that visitors will also find that the site adds extra enjoyment to their time in Weardale from drawing them into the many local social and community events that they might otherwise miss.

 Each month has a day by day calander of events. However there are break outs and web links for faster retrieval of information.
Information on the site is based on published sources and material given to us by event organisers. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that all information used is accurate, no responsibity can be taken for inaccuracies or alterations which may occur to events. |
