Wolsingham Parish Plan Committee
Minutes of meeting held on Monday, 10th January 2005 at 7pm
in the Mill Race, Wolsingham

Present: J. Lambard, D. Pattison, J. Keenan, R. Hopkinson, K. Rogers, K.L. Rogers, E. Bloomfield, K. Smith, S. Hunt, E. Ridley.
Apologies: D. Gascoigne, M. Lambard, F. Shepheard, M. Shepheard.

1. Draft plan: copies were handed out and read by those present. It will have an introductory letter signed by the Chairman of the Parish Council. A new section has been added on ‘Community Facilities’, to detail available halls and premises.

2. Members raised several points for amendment, which were discussed.

3. Local consultation on the draft plan: the document will be available for anyone to read at the Papershop, Keenan’s butcher’s, the Parish Council Offices, in the Library, on the notice board at the foot of the Town Hall stairs, and on the web-site.

4. Wider consultation on the draft plan: the document will be sent to the Countryside Agency, Wear Valley District Council, Steve Foster (D.C.C.) and the Police for their input.

5. Deadline for responses to the consultation will be the end of Feb 11th.

6. Members accepted the draft of the Plan. It will be put to the Parish Council on Tuesday, 11th January 2005.

The date of the next meeting will be on Wednesday, 2nd February 2005, at 7pm in the Mill Race, Wolsingham. The meeting closed at 8.50pm.
