WOLSINGHAM PARISH PLAN

MINUTES OF A MEETING HELD 4TH DECEMBER 2003

Present: Chairman, Ken Rogers, Mrs. D. Gascoigne,
R. Hopkinson, Mrs. E.S. Ridley , Mrs. K. Rogers & G.Dobson

Apologies: Miss Rebecca Lee, & Miss Anne Marie Storey, D.C. Pattison Mr. E. Bloomfield

This was a communications meeting which accounted for the rather small number of participants.
The presentation evening at the local working men’s club had been poorly attended , albeit those who had attended thought it was worthwhile.
There had been ongoing talks with various local organisations about the Parish Plan, which included the following, Mother’s Union, Women’s Institute, Primary School, Aged Concern, Flower Club, Badminton Club, Anglican & Methodist Church, Art Club, Bridge Club, Bowls Club, Christian Aid, Trefoil Guild, Theatre Club.
A stall had been booked at the Christmas Fayre to be held on 13th December, Ken to arrange for display board, Bob and girls to provide display material, a power point application which would constantly run , for the duration of the event, to try and get the message across and have more people involved with the Plan.
A list of Councillors and minutes , notices etc., to be displayed in the notice board outside the library.
The communications team would now target organisations who had not been talked to and distribute forms etc.

Next meeting January 19th Mill Race Hotel
