Life Opportunities
The Centre creates opportunities which enable people to address their needs and aspirations by providing effective support in community settings. This enables people to recover those aspects of ordinary life eroded by isolation, stigma and discrimination. |
Social Inclusion

Citizenship

Four schemes supporting tenants to achieve independence and the fullest possible engagement in the wider community |
Employment
Members are offered a monthly advice surgery with the Benefits Agency. The Centre is active in making use of research and best practice towards developing a coherent prgramme for people wishing to engage or re-engage with employment by active involvement in:
* Worknet Network
* 5 year Single Regeneration Budget (SRB6) on mental health and employment
* Durham and Teeside Supported Employment Network. |
