About The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust

The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust is the largest international wetland conservation charity in the UK.

WWT’s mission is to conserve wetlands and their biodiversity. These are vitally important for the quality and maintenance of all life.

Founded in 1946 by the artist and naturalist Sir Peter Scott (1909 - 1989), WWT has 9 UK visitor centres, where people can get closer to wetland birds and enjoy spectacular wetland landscapes in a welcoming and friendly environment.
