Welcome to Darlington Camcorder Club
Darlington Camcorder Club are a group of amateur videographers who meet in Darlington. Our club welcomes members of all ages and abilities.
*** MEETING VENUE ***
We meet every Thursday evening (from September to March) in The NEW METHODIST CHURCH HALL, AT THE REAR OF THE METHODIST CHAPEL, Haughton Le Skerne - entrance on Haughton Green, Darlington -from 7.30pm.
We have an annual membership fee of £20 and visitors are welcomed for an initial free visit.
The club is a member of the Institute of Amateur Cinematographers and also the North East Region of the Institute - known as NERIAC.
A FREE INTRODUCTION TO VIDEO FILM MAKING
Learn how to make videos of your holidays and family events that everyone will want to see again and again!
On Saturday 17th and Saturday 26th September 2009 the club are running two workshops aimed at anybody who would like to learn the basics of taking videos, or improve their existing skills covering:
SATURDAY 19 SEPTEMBER
Overview of different types of video cameras
Taking Video
Four ways to improve your video
Practical session taking video and viewing the results.
SATURDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER
Folowing on from Workshop 1 this second workshop will provide attendees with the basic skills for editing and sharing their video movies.
How to transfer footage to a computer
Introduction to video editing using both free software and Adobe Premiere Elements 7
Producing DVDS and sharing your videos on the web.
Refreshments will be provided
