The Wednesday Club was founded over 20 years ago and is loosely associated with St Helen’s Church.
The club is purely social, and the main activity is to enjoy a cup of coffee or occasionally a glass of wine, or a bring-and-share supper, and enjoy a talk or presentation by a speaker. Our yearly programme has a lively and interesting and eclectic range of talks and activities.
The club welcomes new members. Membership is not restricted to the congregation but is open to all and the club welcomes non-church-goers and members from other faiths.
Meetings are normally held at 8.00p.m on the third Wednesday of every month in St Helen’s Church Centre, St Helen’s Court (off West St Helen Street), Abingdon. There is a small annual subscription. To join, simply turn up at one of the meetings.
