Kevin Cox is the Sifu, founder and chief instructor of the AFTMA. Kevin has been training for eighteen years and in this time has trained with many different instructors such as
Sifu J.I.Ayres Tong Long - Sifu M.Howard Tong Long - Sensei D.Collins 7th Dan Karate - Sifu D.Frearson sspm and Master R.’DD’ Hopkins founder of WUMA. Kevin has attended many seminars in self-defence as well as traditional systems such as eagle claw Kung Fu - seven star preying mantis Kung Fu - Japanese weapon Bo seminar and many more. Kevin has performed demonstrations for the Chinese new year in Oxford ,for the local Chinese community and for the students at Oxford University.
In November the AFTMA had three medalist in the European championships in Chelenham. We had a second in chinese kung fu forms one in full contact and one in light contact.2001
