Brighton Morris Day of Dance

Once again we were thrilled to get an invite down to Brighton to join the BMM in what is always a great day.

Even though the weather forecast was not promising many of us decided to stay over which was well worth it because again the day turned out dry and sunny enough to feel like summer.

Although Armaleggan's performances at the first spot left a lot to be desired dance wise (sorry Ditchling and Cuckoos - think it was the lack of beer until the pubs opened) We pulled things together again later even without some of our more experienced members and really enjoyed the last two spots.

Great to see Hunters Moon again and we hope to meet up with you guys again sometime soon.

Sorry to nick your photos for this site Mark / Andy but at least they are small enough files for communigate

Armaleggan add to our repetoire of seasonal celebration

Following the success of our May Morning and Imbolc celebrations in previous years, look out for us this year in our darker aspects as we include marking the death of the light at Samhain with our torch dance in reverse, (Cumnor) and then full on at New Years Eve, we start the earlier part of the evening Wassailing the good folk of Kidlington,
