Are you a person who loves a fast paced game of badminton? Can you play to a fair standard and are willing to meet new people? Then this is the club for you, especially if you are a lady, as we are extremely short of numbers to enter for a team!
We meet every Friday at the Sports Centre, Queens Avenue, from 7:30pm to 10:30pm, on 2-4 courts, and supply feather shuttles.
Come for up to 3 visits at £5 a time, and if you decide to join it is £120 for a full season (Sept-May), reduced as the year goes on. Juniors, retired and unemployed are charged at 66% of the adult fee. If you don't miss a week this actually works out very reasonably!!
We hold several social events in the year, including summer barbecue, Christmas meal, end of season fun tournament and Friday night gatherings at the Nightingale.
