Benedictine monks arrive in Oxford
 | A Congregation of Benedictine Monks of the Old Catholic Church have made Oxford their home. The monks whose life is contemplative, believe in presevering of tradition in giving primacy to the Tridentine Mass and the recitation of the Divine Office in common and respecting the conscience of the individual in matters of faith.
The mission of the monks is to pray for the needs of the people around them, their friends and neighbours as well as for the needs of the local churches.
The monks will be reciting divine Office in the Chapel of Westminster College from 22nd April 2002 at the following times:
0700 - Morning Prayer
1215 - Midday Prayer
1700 - Vespers
2000 - Compline
all are welcome to join them.
