Buttercross Quilters

The Buttercross Quilters meet in the Burwell Hall, Witney every second Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm. New members are always welcome and our current membership number is 35. Meetings may consist of a mini-workshop or a visiting speaker, they are very informal with lots of fun and chat. In April 2006 we held a very successful exhibition in the Methodist Church, Witney. The local cinema owner made a film of the group preparing for the exhbition and this has been featured many times on The Big Screen in Witney! As a group we made a quilt of our self portraits (featured below), this was exhibited at our own 'Inspirations' exhibition and at a national quilt show in Malvern, where it won first prize for 'Humour'. The new Programme for 2006 - 2007 has begun and we look forward to seeing you.
