ECO-CONGREGATION
A programme developed from a partnership of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland and ENCAMS, commended by Church leaders. Through worship, rejoice in God's gift of creation, care for this gift in every aspect of life. Eco-Congregation identifies simple ways in which Churches can care for the environment and provides inspiration for their life and mission through working for the well being of creation. The programme's modules involve worship, children's work, youth programmes, caring for church premises and housing, finance and other resources, house groups, church gardens and land, reaching out into the community. Churches involved in the pilot study worked with other congregations, their local authority, local community and environmental organisations, community groups that used their premises.
