 | NEW PUBLICATIONS FROM CTE Churches Together in England, 27 Tavistock Square, London WC1H 9HH Linking Churches and Schools, Gillian Wood (Free Church Education Officer) Helps churches create links with their local community schools and suggests ways to help local church schools. It advises how to be a good guest and points to legal issues. Its large reference section detailing organisations, books and web sites is particularly helpful. Generous grants enable single copies to be offered free to those who write to CTE London Office enclosing two first-class stamps towards p&p. Together in Ministry' is an excellent short leaflet for those thinking about, or starting ministry in Local Ecumenical Partnerships. Send SAE to the London Office.
CARE FOR THE FAMILY – ONLINE RESOURCES A new online resource from Care for the Family called Family File is designed to help those in a leadership position (clergy and lay), within their church, who deal with family problems, to get hold of a wide range of information on family issues. See www.familyfile.org.uk The Care for the Family e-newsletter that gives 'up to date' news of events and new resources - www.care-for-the-family.org.uk Local Area Reps Dianne and Richard Bayfield are also available to host film showings of '60 Minute Marriage', '60 Minute Parent', 'What They Didn’t Teach Me At Sunday School' and 'Issues Women Face' in your church or local community hall, thereby bringing the wisdom of Rob and Dianne Parsons’ teaching to your local community.
