"Cash on Delivery" - 26th, 27th, 28th May 2005 7.30pm
This hilarious farce, written by Michael Cooney (son of Ray Cooney, star and writer of many well known comedies - "Run for your wife" etc.) concerns, amongst others: a DSS fraudster, an alcoholic inspector, a confused undertaker, a very confused lodger, a comatose hospital porter, a bewildered counsellor and a washing machine with a mind of its own. There are mistaken identities, accidents of coincidence, words with double meanings and 'near misses' in timing, which all lead to a simple event descending into a nightmare of lie upon lie until it is hard to tell what is true and what is not. This play provides an hilarious evening of entertainment with laugh following laugh as the characters try to extract themselves out of the chaos they put themselves in.
