Only Private Hindu Temple

Hindu Temple - Mr Chandra and Mrs Athiswari Vadivale have lived in a tiny hamlet of Oxfordshire, in Middleton Stoney for 16 years.

The owners are of South Indian origin and came here originally from Malaysia but have lived in the U.K. for 28 years.

The Temple moorthis or dieties are: Ganesha, Siva Lingam, Muruga or Lord Karthik, Maha Gayathri (5 faced - the only one in Europe, we have been told), Manonmani (Ambal), and a Sai Mandir.

Prayers are held every Friday from 8.30 p.m. onwards and every Thursday Bhagwan Sai Baba's Paaduka Puja and Archana.

On full moon there are prayers and any other Festival days like Pongal, Siva Rathri, Navarathri and Deepavali.
