Feng Shui used to determine planning decision
Hong Kong legislators have branded the decision by the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation to hire a local 'Feng Shui' master as 'ridiculous'. Paul Lam Kwong-hung, one of Hong Kong's leading experts in Fung Shui, is being employed to determine the new route for a HK$900 million rail link. this new route will help create new capacity on the already congested historic Kowloon (Jiulong)to Canton (Gnangzhou)route. The route he has chosen will pass through an ecologically sensative valley. He claims that an alternative more costly route would be bad Feng Shui for surrounding villages.
I wonder if planning authorites in Europe would be prepared to follow this lead.
