Drummers of Burundi-The Apollo Theatre Friday-4th May

The Apollo Theatre will be hosting a performance by the Drummers of Burundi on the evening of Friday 4th May at 8 p.m.

[blue]The Apollo is willing to offer a group discount of £3 on a £20 Stalls ticket for groups of over ten. So I have booked a block of 20, and propose to make them available at the normal full list price of £20, and use the profits from the group discount for the benefit of your Branch’s funds.

All those who come along on the group booking are invited to free drinks in the interval in my office, which is literally just across the alleyway from the Apollo.

If any of your members think they’d be interested in coming to see them, please ask them to tear off the form at the bottom and send it to me (or email me a message, if that’s easier). There are very few seats left in the theatre, since this troupe is proving extremely popular with Oxford audiences. Therefore, anyone who would like a ticket should let me know very soon, or I will have to return the unsold seats to the Apollo Box Office.

If the elections are held the day before, this is the earliest date on which it is permitted to organise Branch fund-raising events without breaching the election financing rules.

Please reserve me the following tickets for the Drummers of Burundi on 4th May 2001
(Cheques at £20/seat are to be made out to Oxford North Ward Labour Party)

James Fry 7, Rawlinson Road Oxford, OX2 6UE (Phone: Work 791737; Home 554001/Fax: Work 791739/Email Jfry@Lmc.co.uk)
