Children's Liturgy
There is Children's Liturgy at Our Lady of the Rosary each week at 9.15am Mass. The children gather in church with their parents and the other members of the congregation, and are invited to leave for their own Liturgy after the opening prayer.
'Treasure Seekers' (under 7s) go to the Rosary Room with a carer, and 'Pearl Divers' (7s to 10s) go to the Lady Chapel). The children return in time to take part in the Offertory procession, often presenting the work they have done along with the gifts of bread and wine.
We welcome people who would like to become leaders at Children's Liturgy. Please speak to any of the existing leaders if you would like to help our children grow inthe faith in this way. We follow Diocesan guidelines for safe recruitment. The process includes a (very informal) interview, your providing references and submitting an application for a CRB disclosure. |
