Welcome to Isis

We are a step dance group from Oxfordshire who collect and perform step dances from the British Isles.

Our dances are Celtic step dances or dances with a Celtic theme from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

ISIS use their own origninal choreography accompanied by traditional music and song which give the group their own unique style.

They dance in hard shoes and traditional wooden clogs which enhance the percussive rhythms of the traditional stepping.

The surface on which they dance becomes their drum - the percussion of their feet is their first and essential music.
