Pictures from the early shows.
 | Noel Coward's Still Life.
The play was called Still Life and became known as Brief Encounter when David Lean adapted and filmed Coward's story in 1945.
The production was in the early fifties, possibly 1953, and therefore in the old village hall. It was the first full length play put on by the group.
Tony Drew, on the far left of the photograph, retired from the Group long ago but still attends our plays regularly.
