Lunchtime Recitals began in February 2000. They are grant aided by West Oxfordshire District Council, High St. Methodist Church and the Friends of Lunchtime Recitals. The recitals take place on Thursdays at 1.30pm, and each lasts for an hour. Our aim is to provide an admission free concert series to which everyone is welcome and to present the less well known repertoire along with the best of the classical favourites. The recitals have been described as a unique extension to Witney's cultural services.
