Classical Music in St Peter's Church, Wallingford
Music at St Peter's is a series of concerts of classical chamber and choral music, given on Saturday evenings between May and October by professional musicians in the eighteenth-century church of St Peter in Wallingford. The acoustics are excellent, and the concerts regularly receive enthusiastic reviews in the Oxford Times. (The Oxford Times on previous seasons) Music-lovers come from all over the region to the concerts. Details of the 2012 season (the 27th) are given below and in the calendar .Ticket prices for 2012 are as follows:-
Single tickets for individual concerts: £11 if bought and paid for in advance, or £13 on the door
Season tickets for all concerts: £70 (not including the additional recital on 22 September - see below)

No need to book - just turn up. Children between 8 and 14 must be accompanied by an adult

SATURDAY 23 JUNE: HUW WIGGIN (Saxophone) and JOSEPH HOUSTON (Piano). Music by Milhaud's Scaramouche, Bernstein's West Side Story Suite, Borne's Fantasy on Bizet's Carmen, Iturralde's Pequena Czarda, and Maurice's Tableaux de Provence

Mozart's Divertimento (Quintet for Piano and Wind in F flat), Poulenc's Sextet for Piano and Wind, and Wind Quintets by Danzi and Goleminov
SATURDAY 15 SEPTEMBER: THE BMF PIANO TRIO
Piano Trios by Mozart and Schubert (No 1 in B flat), and music by Roxanna Panufnik and Hanna Kulenty
SATURDAY 22 SEPTEMBER: ANITA D'ATTELLIS (Piano)
Debussy's Pour le piano, Beethoven's "Pathétique" Sonata, Prokofiev's 3rd Sonata, and three of Chopin's Scherzos.
ALL PROCEEDS FROM THIS CONCERT WILL BE GIVEN TO BENSON CHORAL SOCIETY AND IT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE ANNUAL SEASON TICKET
