Concerts 2009-10

The following concerts have been arranged [NB ALL AT 3PM] at Holywell Music Room -

2009-10 season (see subscriptions page) -
18 October: The London Concertante play Strauss's Till Eulenspiegel (quintet arrangement) and the Octets of Francaix and Schubert.
15 November: The Sacconi Sring Quartet play Haydn's quartet in D op 76 no 5, McCabe's Piano Quintet with the composer at the piano and Beethoven's quartet in A minor op 132.
10 January: The Rhodes Piano Trio play Bridge's Phantasie Trio in C minor, Beethoven's op 70 no 2 in E flat major and Schumann's first Trio in D minor op 63.
21 February: The Arditti String Quartet play Beethoven's Grosse Fuge op 133, Birtwistle's 'The Tree of Strings' and Bartok's 6th quartet.
14 March: The Dante String Quartet play Haydn in G major op 77 no 1, Sibelius in D minor 'Voces Intimae' and Smetana's 1st quartet 'From my Life'.
25 April: The Badke String Quartet play Haydn in D minor op 76 no 2, Bartok's 3rd quartet and Ravel in F major.
