OxTales

If you haven’t already tried it, you may be surprised to discover the magic of the ancient myths and epics, folk tales and wonder tales that are part of that most ancient of pastimes, Traditional Storytelling.

If you have already experienced it, then you will need no other encouragement to come and share in the Oxford Storytelling Circle, hearing both experienced storytellers and newcomers to the art. All are welcome, so come with a story to share or simply come to listen.

The content of these evenings is not planned or programmed. It arises spontaneously out of the contributions - both as tellers and as listeners - of the people who happen to be there on the night. Every evening is fun and some are truly magical. To share in the magic, take your place in the Circle.

Autumn Programme 2007

Autumn meetings will be held on Thursday evenings:

October 11
November 8
December 13.

Meetings begin at 7.30 p.m. in the Red Lion, Godstow Road, Wolvercote. First room on the right as you come in the front door.

There is no room charge and we normally break for a few minutes midway to re-charge our drinks as desired.

We look forward to seeing you there!
