 | to keep the next twelve months as a special Year of the Eucharist.
You are particularly blessed to be receiving your First Holy Communion in the summer of this year.
As you prepare for this precious moment I want to greet and congratulate you and your family.
Please prepare well for this First Holy Communion.
It us a new step in a friendship with Jesus which will be lifelong. Each day think about receiving Our Lord into your heart and soul. He becomes your food and nourishment for life. Always look forward eagerley to that moment.
I ask that, with your family, you say this prayer each day, perhaps just before you go to sleep. I shall pray for you, too.
