WELCOME TO CATHOLIC SCHOOLS IN THE OXFORD AREA!

The schools in our area are listed on the left. Click! on a school and you will be able to see which parish(es) the school serves. Through the hyper-link you can go through to the parish web site.
You can also access the parishes and other catholic institutions in the Oxford area through the Deanery Web site by clicking below. However, thanks to Alfred the Great the boundary between the Archdiocese of Birmingham and the Diocese of Portsmouth is the Thames, which runs through the centre of Oxford. So, included in the Oxford (North) Deanery web site are a number of Parishes from Portsmouth, plus, also, some Parishes of Oxford (South) Deanery. Confused?
The main purpose of the two websites, CATHOLIC SCHOOLS IN OXFORD AREA and CATHOLIC CHURCH IN OXFORD AREA is to foster and promote the links between parishes and schools wherever they may be, and to celebrate the different aspects of the Catholic Church in general; at the same time, to help comprehend the changes that are being made in this area to the re-organisation of schools.
It must be confusing for those who are new to the area or are trying to make arrangements for the education of their children. Please feel free to leave comments or suggestions on the Message board or Guestbook. (Or e-mail!)
