Pastoral Council

Our parish did not have a parish council for years, but at a Parish Meeting we decided to set up a consultative council which now meets a few times during the year to include the Finance Committee, youth Council and areas such as pastoral care and liturgy.

Our pastoral council attempts to reflect the variety of ages and backgrounds in our parish. Like all such councils in the Catholic Church the council is a consultative group to help the Parish priest to make well informed decisions.

The Council cannot meet formally without a priest in charge, but its committed members will be working hard to run many aspects of the life of the parish
