About the Competition
Each year Witney Lakes GC Seniors host a Pairs Open competition in support of the Seniors' Captain's chosen charity. This year that charity is SeeSaw; an Oxford based Charity which provides support for bereaved children and their families.
This year's competition, which will be played on the Tuesday, 14th August, is an 18 hole Stableford Better Ball contest.
The winning team will receive a prize to the value of £150. 2nd, 3rd & 4th placed teams will receive prizes to the value of £100, £50 & £30 respectively.
In addition to the main prizes there are also 4 Nearest-the-Pin and 2 Longest Drive spot prizes as well as a '2s' contest, a Chipping contest, a Putting contest and, of course, the Raffle.
Entrants will be provided with coffee and biscuits prior to their rounds and a 2-course Barbecue buffet afterwards (a vegetarian option will be available).
The entry fee for this year's competition is a mere £25 per person.
