Meditation Classes in Oxford
 Fancy a break away from the stresses and strains of daily life? Why not try Meditation Classes! We hold weekly meditation classes at Society of Friends (43 St Giles) in Oxford. The classes are held most Wednesday evenings from 7.30 p.m. - 9.15 p.m. They cost £5 and the teacher of the classes is Buddhist Nun Kelsang Loten.
What is meditation? The purpose of meditation is to make the mind calm and peaceful. This is achieved through learning to cultivate positive states of mind and then integrating this awareness into daily life.
What happens in these classes? Different aspects of meditation are explained in the classes each week by Kelsang Loten who guides meditations and answers your questions.
These introductory classes are suitable for everyone regardless of background or experience. Classes may be attended on a "drop-in" basis.
