If someone is sick.......
 | | Those who are sick and cannot get to Mass should ask for Holy Communion to be brought to them. Normally one of our lay Eucharistic ministers, a member of the religious community, or the deacon will do this. A priest will come tovisit you if you are housebound and would like to make your confession. A priest will also come and offer the Sacrament of the Sick (Anointing)to anyone who is seriously ill or facing an operation or even childbirth. |
|
Praying for and visiting the sick
 | | We list those who are in need of our prayers in the parish bulletin each week. Please remember them in your prayers. If you know of someone who is sick and housebound or is in hospital please let the deacon or one of the priests know. Deacon Chris is currently reviewing the list of those who are sick. If you have ever been in hospital or been stuck at home you will know how important it is to be visited, to know that someone cares about you, and to receive Communion, if that is your wish. |
