A new pre-school for Kidlington? Please complete our survey

Sunflowers Pre-school is a group of parents and trained pre-school staff who are considering starting a new pre-school in Kidlington. We are conducting a market research survey, the purpose of which is to find out if there would be demand for one. Please visit our website to complete our survey.

We see a need for an affordable pre-school run with open and honest relationships between parents and staff, and not linked with a particular primary school. This would be an independent pre-school, managed by a committee of volunteer parents and staff, which can accept LEA funding for over 3s. A new structure will become available in April 2010 called a Charitable Incorporated Organisation which would allow us to appoint directors ensuring continuity with the managing of the pre-school.

We are currently in the process of registering with the Charity Commission and the Pre-school Learning Alliance, which would give us the expert help and support in running a high quality setting. We are exploring what suitable premises would be available.
