Teaching

Wallingford Ringers members have taught various groups both ongoing and finished. For several years a youth group was attached to Wallingford Ringers, made up of pupils from a local junior school. One of the ringers is now 16 and still rings with us and is our youngest member. The youth group members participated in the Celebration of Bells that was staged by SE region of HRGB. A course for adults was run in Wallingford Adult Education Centre. Members of Wallingford Ringers have also been chosen to run workshops at an International Handbell Symposium and at the National Rally in Glasgow 2004 and Ring at the Royal Northern College of Music in 2005. We recently gave a workshop at Wallingford's annual Bunkfest folk festival, as an introduction to handbells
