Steve Cowham and Paul Goacher appeared in the Gazette & Herald when they were in the 6th Form (1972-74). They were photographed when the headmaster, Mr. J.D. Gresswell, showed them a plaque in memory of Philip Taylor. The plaque had been presented to the school governors by his widow Mrs. Constance Taylor who had moved to live with her daughter in Nottingham.
