Could you give a loving home to a retired greyhound?
Greyhounds are very lazy, gentle and affectionate dogs. They do NOT need a lot of exercise and in most cases two, twenty minute walks a day is enough. Generally, they settle quickly into a home and soon learn to become pets.
Why not join us on a Greyhound Walk (next walk is on Sunday 25 March 2007 in Ripon). This is an excellent opportunity to meet retired greyhounds and their owners and have an informal chat with them about their experiences of greyhounds as pets.
If you would like any more information please email me, Karen Fraser, using the link on the left. I will be happy to answer any queries or to send you an information pack.
Some of the greyhounds available for homing in North Yorkshire are pictured on the adoption pages. Although the information is updated regularly, it is not always possible to have pictures of every available dog on the website. We usually have around 20 greyhounds looking for homes.
