How to adopt

The standard way that we work is that after receiving an initial enquiry we:

1. arrange to visit the prospective adopter (often with one or both of our pet greyhounds).

2. visit the prospective home and talk about greyhounds, what people would like, answer any more questions they may have.

3. allow the prospective adopters time to discuss whether they are still interested (a cooling off period) and then ask them to contact us and let us know how they feel.

4. if they are still interested we ask them to ring us and discuss what they’d like to do (some people like to visit a kennel and have a choice of greyhounds, others prefer not to have to make that decision and ask us to choose based on what they would like).

5. a date is arranged to visit the kennels or for us to bring the new dog into the home.

6. we are ALWAYS available to help and assist once someone has taken on a greyhound.
