Roll of Honour 2002-2003
Old Malton St Marys F.C. held their annual presentation night in front of a packed clubhouse on Saturday evening. Although the club was unable to win any silverware, the season was seen as a great success, with all three teams consolidating their positions in their relevant leagues. With an excellent crop of young players coming through into the first team, everyone was looking forward to the start of next season with renewed confidence. The team managers presented the individual awards as follows. First team player of the year Paul Boyes, runner-up Sam Lander, leading goalscorer Dave Bradshaw. Reserve team player of the year Keith Davies, runner-up Dave Ward, leading goalscorer Richard Hudson. Third team player of the year Jamie Miller, runner up Les Swift, leading goalscorer George Cooper. The clubman of the year award went to third team keeper Andrew Raines. A special award was given to first team manager Kim Scott in recognition of his sterling efforts and commitment during the season. |
