Roll of Honour 2006-2007

Old Malton St Mary’s F.C. held their annual presentation night at the Next Generation Club in York. Despite the club's first and third team reaching the Scarborough & District FA Cup Final and the Panasonic Division Two Cup Final respectively, they were unable to capture any silverware losing out to Edgehill and Crayke in the finals. All four teams managed to maintain their status in their respective leagues, the third team just missing out on promotion to the Ryedale Beckett League Division One. The team managers presented the individual awards as follows. First team player of the year – Simon Cooke, runner-up – Rob Campbell. Second team player of the year – Rob Butler, runner-up – James Stone. Third team player of the year – Ben Saltmer, runner up – Liam Preston. Fourth team player of the year - James Fox, runner up - Rob Goforth. Clubs leading goalscorer with 29 goals - Richard Stevenson. Club chairman Richard Taylor made a special award to committee member Stuart Bainbridge in recognition of all his hard work during the season.

Party Time

(Top Left) Three young stars of the future in good 'spirits'. From the left, Callum Scott, Robbie Thackray and Robbie Baker.
(Top Right) Paul "the Pided Piper" Jennison showing the young bucks how it's done. From the left, Robbie Thackray, Dave Fleming, Ben Saltmer and Paul Jennison.
(Bottom Left) Is Shep whispering sweet nothings to an unamed third team player or sticking the lips on him? Perhaps they're comparing the size of their manhood..........
(Bottom Right) Has the "Pided Piper" run out of partners or is it just a severe case of the "two bob bits"?

Party Time

(Top Left) Scowie's just been telling "Big Lad" what a busy day he's had grafting away, before offering to buy a round of drinks..........
(Top Right) All the silverware on display ready for the winners to collect.
(Bottom Left) Everyone's starting to get a little friendly now. Is young Charlie Cooke looking like getting a brother or sister tonight, or can Wils come to the rescue with a bucket of water?
(Bottom Right) Steady on Joanne, you can't be mounting him on the dance floor, he starts pre-season soon..........

Party Time

(Top Left) The heat's off Cookey, the new arrival's been put back until after the next year's wedding. Planned for out of the football season we hope.........
(Top Right) The young guns are still in a huddle, there's got to be some totty stuck in the middle.
(Bottom Left) Spike's just starting the interview process for next season's bar staff.
(Bottom Right) After three minutes of intensive questioning we're pleased to announce that Jess has got the job..........Nice one!

Party Time

(Top Left) Scowie showing Jenno and young Dave Fleming how to tackle. A throw back to his days as the third team's hatchet man.
(Top Right) At last the music's stopped, time for some more refreshments.......... soft drinks of course!
(Bottom Left) Time to get grooving again with the "Pided Piper" far right leading the way.
(Bottom Right) Mr Chairman gagging for another cheeky one!
With the bar takings for the night exceeding just over two grand, an excellent night was had by all. Pity a select few missed the last bus home.........
