AGM REPORT

On Wednesday 12th January, 2007 the Ryedale A.S. held their AGM at the Bay Horse Hotel, Pickering. Committee elected for 2008:- Chairman - Mr. M. Short Secretary - Mr. D. Marshall Treasurer - Mr. H. Hallsworth Show Secretary - Mrs. A. Grayson Committee Member - Miss S. Marshall The winners of the Annual Trophy competitions were:- Senior Aquarist of the Year - Mr. D. Marshall British Telecom Xmas Trophy, owner of the best egglaying fish, best fish bred by a member and owner of the best livebearing fish trophies all won this year by Mr. M. Short. The Society is pleased to announce the forming of a a 'twinning' association with the South Shields based South Tyneside Aquarists', Marine and Pondkeepers Society (STAMPS for short) which will see an exchange of website articles and the holding of social events etc. Our photograph, courtesy of Sue Marshall, shows Malcolm holding two of the four trophies won at the AGM.
