BEAUTIFUL CATFISH
 | Causing much interest among Ryedale Aquarists' is the beautiful catfish featured above, photographed for the North-East Aquatics website by Mr. A. Kenworthy of Otley A.S., which is cared for by one of our members.
This fish resembles S. petricola in body line and tail markings but has the markings of S. nigrita so we have a strong suspicion that 'he' might well be a hybrid of the two species not created by nature but through the 'hand of man' (see the article on Asian Red Parrot cichlids on our official website a www.ryedaleaquaristsociety.co.uk)?
Synodontis feature very heavily in the articles section of our website so we will direct you here to find out more information on the nature and care of these wonderful catfish.
